A Portrait of Cannonball with Tony Kofi (alto) and Andy Davies (trumpet) – a thrilling celebration of the alto sax giant Julian Cannonball’ Adderley with Alex Webb (piano), Hamish Moore (bass) and Alfonso Vitale (drums). A free event, part of the Watford Jazz Festival’s ‘Jazz Steps’ day.

Revisiting the famous album when John Coltrane teamed up with vocalist Johnny Hartman to explore their favourite romantic standards, tenor sax boss Denys Baptiste is joined by the extraordinary vocalist Marvin Muoneké and a top-flight rhythm section of Gary Crosby (bass), Alex Webb (piano) and Alfonso Vitale (drums).
