After 18 hours of training, a written exam and practical assessment, I am now officially one of the East of England Ambulance Service's Community First Responders.
It was actually quite hard work and I put in some serious revision last night (I know, I always told students not to leave it until the last minute!).
Once I got there and settled into it, I was happy with how I did, although I know that I can only improve once I'm actually doing the role.
Next on the list is a day out with an ambulance crew. Can't wait!
